Rock Hill police are investigating the shooting death of a woman on Tuesday night, the Rock Hill Herald reported.
Police said the 41-year-old woman was sitting in a chair in the living room of her home on Powderhouse Street when multiple shots were fired into her home.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
Police said two other people, the woman’s 20-year-old son and her 51-year-old boyfriend, were inside the home at the time of the shooting but were not injured.
Police have not said what the motive of the shooting was, but they do not believe the shooting was random.
