Police say a Charlotte man was shot and killed following an argument over a cellphone.
Concord police responded to 700-3 NC Highway 49 at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday and found John Wallace, of Charlotte, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Wallace was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police arrested Matthew Sherrill, of Concord, on a charge of murder.
During the investigation, police learned that the two men knew each other. Polcie say shooting was a result of a disagreement over a cellphone that Wallace had purchased from Sherrill.
